Anabezi Camp, on the banks of the Zambezi River in the Lower Zambezi National Park, it feels like coming home: welcome to a very special place.
There is a good chance to witness your most beautiful sunset here, while canoeing down the breathtaking Zambezi River. Counting the most stars you will ever see in the deepest black sky is also an entertaining evening activity. With only eleven spacious and very-well-appointed tents, the camp never feels overcrowded. Personal service is guaranteed, as is amazing bush cuisine and a knowledgeable management and staff. Managers Paul and Lynn will welcome you as family and spoil you with hospitality and kindness (no to mention incredible food and entertaining stories).
The camp consists of eleven luxurious tents, more like ‘suites’, boasting amazing views over the river. Your suite includes a big, comfy bed, sitting area, spacious private deck with inviting lounge chairs, en-suite facilities with bathtub and an outdoor shower (this will be the favourite part of your day). After your evening shower you can truly unwind in your private plunge pool while gazing at the stars. In between safari activities, the main guest area provides a cosy hangout. There is the bar for fresh cocktails and incredible vistas with just a turn of your chair. Breakfast, lunch and dinner – all prepared by the ‘great-cook’, Carle – are served on the deck; have your morning eggs while elephants splash in the river only few meters away. The pampering continues with an expansive high-tea in the afternoon (don’t miss out on the lemon meringue mini pies) and sundowners during the second safari activity.
