Surrounded by pure African beauty, this small camp is where you nestle into a swinging chair on the porch and listen to rustling leaves of the Ana trees, as an elephant-family roams by to dig into these juicy greens. It is the most recently opened camp in the Lower Zambezi, and as a sister lodge of the famous Anabezi Camp, you know the quality standard is high. Located on the edge of the Zambezi River .
With only three tents – one of them being a family unit sleeping four people – relaxation comes the minute you are welcomed by the staff with a fresh, cold drink. Take a deep breath, listen to the sounds of nature all around you and feel completely at ease. All tents are built on a raised teak deck, providing broad vistas over the river. Your favorite spot will probably be the lounge chair on your private porch. A place to just sit and witness the constantly changing colours of the sky and water as the day passes by. Keep your binoculars at hand, as this is a perfect nook for some quiet game viewing. The tents also come with an indoor shower and bathroom, feathery-soft beds, tasteful decor and a mini-fridge. Because all tents are generously spaced, it feels private. For a cooling dip in the pool – situated on the banks of the river – or to share safari tales with other guests, walk over the raised walkway to the main area. Once here, grab a sundowner drink and take in the stunning views of a mosaic of islands in the river. These islands are also home to a group of elephant bulls, so prepare yourself for some action.
